Event Information


 Entry Gates and Snackbars will open 1 and 1/2 hour before each performance


Security Check and Delays
  • Security check of bags, etc. will be conducted at all gates; it will cause delays for entry - plan ahead!

Outside Food or Beverage
  • No Outside food or beverage will be allowed in.
    • You will be asked to leave food items at the gate and food/beverage items will not be returned to you.  

Parking 
  • Parking donation of $3.00 benefits a youth organization in Lakeside

Tailgating
    • Absolutely no tailgating is allowed in the Rodeo parking lot or on El Capitan High School property
    • Absolutely no consumption of alcohol is allowed in the Rodeo parking lot or on El Capitan High School property

Stick Horse Racers
  • Stick Horse Race-Cowboy/Cowgirl ages 3-6 Sign up at Rodeo Event booth inside main gate
    • Note: Kids with their own stick horse must still sign up
    • Once the sign ups reach capacity, no further sign ups will be allowed

Kids Coloring Page
  • Trade in completed Kids Coloring Page at a Snack bar for kids treat during the Rodeo!

Cameras and Video Equipment
  • No Video cameras allowed unless pre-authorized by a Press Pass issued through ECSA**
  • No Professional photography or camera equipment will be allowed unless pre-authorized by a Press Pass issued through ECSA**
  • No cameras with lenses longer then 6" (includes lense hood) will be allowed
  • No large camera bags will be allowed (backpack style or larger not allowed)
  • ** For questions regarding Press Pass or allowed photography equipment, contact Betty Washburn at 619-561-4331 no later than April 20, 2014

Alcohol Purchase and Valid ID

 

Only two alcohol beverages may be purchased by one person wearing an alcohol wristband at any time. 

Handing off an alcohol drink to anyone who is not wearing a valid Alcohol wristband will result in expulsion from the event and possible legal action by alcohol enforcement.

 

All patrons must show bona fide (legally acceptable) I.D and wear an event issued alcohol authorized wristband when in the possession of alcohol.

 

An I.D. is legally acceptable if it:


  1. Is issued by a government agency (federal, state)
  2. Contains the name of the person
  3. Contains the date of birth of the person
  4. Contains a description of the person
  5. Contains a photograph of the person
  6. Is currently valid - not expired
  7. A military ID must be accompanied by a valid state ID; an expired state ID will be accepted with an active and valid Military ID.
